SRC Sumatra Development Program

In order to strengthen the regional economy, INOTEK Foundation as a strategic partner of “Sampoerna for Indonesia” launched the Sampoerna Retail Community Development Program (SRC) that supports the realization of quality and independent SMEs.

This program was launched in October 2018 and will be held for 6 months through 3 roadshow activities, namely outreach and business training for 600 SRC members in the South Sumatra, Aceh and North Sumatra. A total of 600 SMEs will be supported to increase their business capacity and to have competitiveness. Cooperation and synergy with the government and local stakeholders will be further enhanced to provide positive programs for sustainability.

 

In carrying out its activities the “Sampoerna Retail Community Development Program” held the SRC Expo. SRC Expo is a capacity building platform for SRC members and conducted periodically.

The first SRC Expo was conducted in Palembang on 10 November 2018. Inotek provide 3 topics training namely Successful Entrepreneurs’ Mindset, 30 Marketing Strategies to Increase Turnover, and the Secrets of Successful Funding. The event was attended by 3100 visitors from SMEs, retailers, SME activists, general visitors and opened by the Governor of South Sumatra, Mr. Herman Deru.

 

The second SRC Expo was conducted in Banda Aceh at the Aceh Tsunami Museum on 23 December 2018, which coincided with the 14th Aceh Tsunami. The Aceh SRC Expo was attended by approximately 200 SMEs obtained from SRC members and opened by Mr. Iskandar, as Assistant 2 representing the Mayor of Banda Aceh.
