Plastic is an object that cannot be separated from people’s daily lives. Plastic waste is classified as non-organic waste which is very dangerous for the environment because it requires a long time and process, which is 1,000 years to be able to be decomposed naturally in the soil and 450 years to decompose in water. The accumulation of plastic waste has caused environmental and health problems. In addition to damaging the beauty of the beach and the sea, plastic waste can be disintegrated into micro and nanoplastic, dissolve in seawater and enter the food chain

Packaging Biodegr(edibel) is a bioplastic from seaweed that can be eaten and decomposed in nature, unlike ordinary plastic which is very polluting the environment, our products are environmentally friendly because they are made from natural ingredients without containing harmful chemicals. The packaging of seaweed can be made as edible or biodegradable packaging, in the form of sachets/sheets. Once unused, this package can be disposed of into the soil and become fertilizer for plants, and is safe if it is discharged into drains.

Currently, Evoware is incubated by INOTEK through a Technology-Based Startup program funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

Hopefully this product can reduce plastic waste and as an environmentally friendly alternative packaging solution.
