On 17^th April, 2014, INOTEK Foundation held a seminar in Novotel Hotel, Semarang, Central Java at 10.30-12.00. The purpose of this socialization event is to introduce two INOTEK’s ongoing programs, INOTEK Mentoring Program and Innovation Technology Forum (FIT) 2014 to many stakeholders who are concern in science and technology. About 16 participants attended the event, comprising of government agencies, business incubators, academics and innovators.

INOTEK mentoring program aims to assist innovators and technological innovation business in developing their technology and improving their business scale. Through this socialization, it is expected that innovators who is already have innovative and marketable products will apply to the mentoring program. The registration step is simple, innovators can download the application form on the INOTEK website and sent it via email to mentoring@inotek.org.

Innovation and Technology Forum (FIT) 2014 was a part of the INOTEK efforts to encourage the growth of ecosystem that support the development of science and technology which provide benefit for the society, especially for farmers, fishermen, and rural communities, as well as support the growth of technology based start-up and SGBs in Indonesia.

In accordance with the main theme of FIT 2014 “Inclusive Innovation”, the event is expected to become a platform for synergy, collaboration, experience exchange, and strengthen the networking of all stakeholders who are concern tothe development of technology based start up and SGBs.

INOTEK Foundation has a commitment to organize the similar event in other cities regularly. It is expected that the socialization will successfully capturing innovators to join the mentoring program. In addition, through this event, INOTEK will increase the cooperation with other organizations and institutions to create more supportive programs for technopreneurs.
