Socialization of INOTEK Mentoring Program in RAMP IPB

Mr. Diyanto Imam gave awards to the I-STEP participants

Took place in a National Seminar on “Social Technopreneurship 2014” and training of “Intensive-Student Technopreneurship Program (I-STEP) 2014” organized by the Recognition and Mentoring Program – Bogor Agricultural University (RAMP – IPB), Mr. Diyanto Imam (Executive Director of INOTEK) participated as a key speaker on the topic “Opportunities of Technopreneurship Development”. In his presentation, Mr. Diyanto explained that one of the accessible opportunities for technopreneur is INOTEK mentoring program. This program would aid in developing technopreneur’s business and technological innovation through intensive mentoring activities along with financial grants. Even some of the INOTEK mentoring program technopreneurs were the I-STEP program alumni.

I-STEP program was held on August 18th to 30th, 2014 at Cico Resort, Bogor. The I-STEP seminar and training was joined by 50 participants from 15 different universities in Indonesia, comprising of the representatives of student organizations, student supervisors, and entrepreneurship lecturers from IPB.

Student Technopreneurship Program is intended to enhance the students’ technopreneurship capacity, so as they have technological idea and are able to create value for the poor and to create sustainable development. This program helps students start from generating and formulating ideas, developing the technology into a real product, protecting the findings, establishing a business, marketing, managing cost and finance, as well as expanding the impact for society.
