29 November 2022

Being successful is a dream for youth. To achieve success, opportunities and strategies are needed so that self-capacity can be achieved.

INOTEK collaborates with U-Go in running the U-Go scholarship program as a bridge for female students to achieve success with the expected goals.

Founded by John Wood, U-Go aims to empower young women to achieve their creative goals and make positive changes to their families and communities.

On this occasion, INOTEK as the facilitator of the U-Go Scholarship Program in Indonesia has held a “U-Go Scholarship Program Celebration” which was held on Saturday, 26 November 2022, and attended by 130 youth virtually.

Total of 121 students have received U-Go scholarships, of which 36% are from Sumatra, 41% from Java, and 23% from Eastern Indonesia with various majors; medical, nursing, technology and science, and other important majors that aim to support National development.

The U-Go program is an action to support SDG’s policy number 4. Quality of Education, 5. Gender Equality, 10. Reduced Inequalities, 17. Partnership for the Goals.

With the U-Go program, we hope to create women leaders who can create jobs and have a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
