Outreach is an integral part of INOTEK’s strategy in developing ecosystem for the creation and development of high-impact and commercially viable invention-based startups and SGBs. Starting in the second half of 2016 INOTEK implements the third iteration of its outreach strategy in its continuous effort to actively participate in the development of ecosystem that benefits invention-based startups and SGBs. INOTEK will move to a new format of outreach in the form of 3-day boot camp for invention-based startups and SGBs under the name “Boot camp for Innovation Acceleration”.
The primary reason for the change in strategy is the still non-conducive ecosystem for invention-based startups and SGBs that continues to hinder the creation and development of high impact and commercially viable invention-based projects in Indonesia. In addition, INOTEK’s on-going assessment and discussion with various local stakeholders also indicated the need for more comprehensive outreach activities beyond information sharing.
Hopefully, the strategy will bring positive impact on the creation and development of high impact and commercially viable invention-based SGBs in Indonesia, which has always been the main issue in the space.
This year’s boot camp will be held in 5 major cities in Indonesia and in close collaboration with 5 universities as local partners and Akselerasi Inovasi-IPB as a national partner.
